Lazy Day

Judd and I are celebrating a LAZY DAY!
We stayed in our pj's most of the day...it was awesome!
We also celebrated by:
reading books
making cinnamon bread
hanging up Halloween decorations
cutting out & organizing coupons
going for walks
taking naps
watching movies
NO homework!
Keeping eachother company

What do you like to do on a lazy day?

Sheesh...its been awhile.

Life has been crazy this past month and a half...sound familiar?

This is a little glimpse into whats kept us busy...

School (ugh) I actually really enjoy school, but go figure, I have the toughest Chemistry Prof. out there! I'm working my butt off and hope to achieve good results! Pray for me!!!

Hunting Its that time of year for us! Dare has been out a few times with his dad and they are going out next weekend for the big kill! Good luck Babe! Judd and I spent some time in Page with Gran while Gramps and Dare were out hunting! We had so much fun! Judd experinced his first tractor pull and loved all the big wheels! We always have a great time with Gran!

Family My fam came up for conference and it was such a blast! I miss them sooo much! My mom was able to stay with us for a week and I loved every second of it! Sure do miss them!

Work Thankfully, Darren has been blessed with a lot of jobs, he's always running here and there trying to get things done! He is quite the handyman! Hearts are picking up and I've had some crazy weekends at the hospital!

Rock Hunting Dare has been working really hard on our yard! He,Nick, and Judd have made several trips up in the mountains and brought home really cool rocks! Our yard is looking sooo much better!

Out with Old, in with the OLDER Darren and I both sold are vehicles! I was sooo sad to see my sweet little honda go! We both have older vehicles now, but they are nice! We are working really hard to save up $

New Callings Dare is the ward mission leader and i'm the ward organist and choir president ( I know, I know, you're jealous!) It's sooo nice to have Wed. nights to ourselves, we had forgoten what its like!

Couponing I HATE coupons...ok I actually LOVE them, but when I'm four weeks behind, its sooo hard to catch up! 3 weeks down, one to go! Hurray!

Life is sure crazy busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way! We are getting a lot accomplished and learning and growing each day! I'm so grateful for the many opportunities that i'm given! I love being a mom and love my little Judd more than he'll ever know!

Sound Familiar???

"Do you take time to discover each day how beautiful your life can be? How long has it been since you watched the sun set? The departing rays kissing the clouds, trees, hills, and lowlands good night, sometimes tranquilly, sometimes with exuberant bursts of color and form. When last did you observe a tiny rosebud form? Each day it develops new and impressive character, more promise of beauty until it becomes a majestic rose. You are one of the noblest of God’s creations. His intent is that your life be gloriously beautiful regardless of your circumstances. As you are grateful and obedient, you can become all that God intends you to be." –Elder Richard G. Scott
Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.” -Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley

Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much

Isla, Me, & Karen ran the 5K "Race for Red" on Saturday. We had a lot of fun and we are looking forward to running a few more races together! I sure do love you gals! (For those of you that don't know...I work with these hilarious girls in the Operating Room. They both trained me and we have tons of fun together)

A few other members of the heart team ran as well! Left to Right: Mark (CT PA,) me, Isla, Dr. Mitchell, Karen, & Dr. McCann. The boys all ended up winning medals for their age groups! We were quite impressed, they did AWESOME! It was so much fun and it was nice to run a race to benefit heart disease seeing how thats what we take care of each day!!!

Judd absolutely LOVES the water! We've been swimming a few times and he just eats it up! We are going to have a lot of fun swimming this summer!

We love you Heathie! My beautiful sister graduated from High School! I officially feel OLD. I can still remember my dad rushing into the house one evening..."Hurry Felish, go grab blankets, your little sister is here!" My mom had her in the car (that explains a few of the odd things about her)haha jk. She sang at seminary graduation and it was one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard (and i'm not just saying that either...ask anyone that was there) She has some serious talent! So heathie feathie...I want you to know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE you! You are hilarious, beautiful, talented, crazy, smart, and i'm soooo grateful your my sis! I'm so excited to have you close to us!
