When I'm the mom, I will NEVER...

EVER EVER Dust items in my house using an air compressor! NEVER SAY NEVER...because guess what I did yesterday??? DUSTED MY HOUSE WITH AN AIR COMPRESSOR!

I know what some of you are thinking..a little OCD eh? Well there is some truth to that I guess. The truth is I really don't care for dusting that much, but this makes it sooo nice. My mom made us dust this way growing up. I remember taking down ALL of my mom nic-nacs and we would take them outside and spray them off with my dads compressor. We only did this during the Spring, but we did it every year with a HUGE smile on our face right guys?

I've come to realize the older I get, i'm a lot like my mom (which I take as a high compliment.) I LOVE LOVE LOVE having a clean, decorated home. It makes me feel so good! Pathetic, I know but at least I'm honest right? But for those of you who know my wonderful mother, you understand where I get this!!! I'm honestly trying to simmer down a little when it comes to having a clean house, but it's hard for me. I think I realized just how bad I was when Darren came home from work starving and dropped some crumbs on the counter (can you believe it??) and he looked up and me and said with fear in his voice, "i'll clean it up, I promise!) Poor guy, look what he has to put up with.

So the house is all dusted, curtains all washed and i'm one happy camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody else have OCD issues out there???

Our refrigerator started acting up the other day so Saturday we finally had to take EVERYTHING out and defrost and clean up the whole thing. Good thing Darren is such a handy man and fixed it for us. It seems we are back in business! It was such a MESS.

We love our Helmet Head! Judd is offically my little NERD BOMBER! Haha. Judd has to wear this lovely device for 23 hours each day. The poor kid has been such a trooper. It breaks my heart to see the little beads of sweat rolling down his face from this awful thing. Good News...we should only have to wear it for 6 weeks, 8 max. Most people wear them for months and months. Judd has the helmet because of plagiocephaly (abnormal head shape) and we are continuing to work on his torticollis (tight muscles in his neck from being squished inside.) So we will have the little man all fixed up!
Now to explain the dirty face...Judd was outside in his walker being entertained by the one and only Koi a.k.a. chief babysitter when all of the sudden Darren heard him laughing, which then turned into screaming. Darren peeked around the corner to witness Koi licking him to death. Judd adores Koi, they are going to be BFF!

Easter Blessings

How grateful I am for the knowledge of the gospel. I'm forever grateful to my Lord and Savior who suffered and died for me. I can only try each day a little harder, to be better than I was the day before. Its such a blessing to reflect on his resurrection and know that through him we can become perfect. Through him, we can be with those we love forever. Through him, all pain and sorrow can be taken away, he has paid the price for all of us, he loves us.

Here, there, everywhere!!!

Judd loves being outside!
The past month and a half have been absolutley CRAZY, but also a lot of FUN! We made a SURPRISE trip down to AZ to watch my most beautiful sister, Heather star in the musical Oklahoma! She did an awesome job and the sight of her face from being SHOCKED to see us down in the audience was priceless! We love you Heathie! You are such a beautiful, talented, hilarious, crazy, girl!

Eight days later, yes 8...we headed back down to AZ for my families Spring Break. We spent the first day canning ALL DAY LONG! It was awesome! I'm sooooo excited for all of my food storage. I have the best family in the world. They helped us can beef, potatoes, and butter! Thanks for your help fam...you guys are the best!

Friday afternoon we took off to the BIG city of Young, AZ. Darrens parents were kind enough to let us use their cabin for the weekend. We rode quads, ate lots and lots of food, watched movies, shot guns, made picture frames...lip gloss...and body scrub, had a fire, and we loved every minute! It was nice to get away and spend time together!

Tuesday morning, Nick, Darren, Judd, Darrens dad Tom, and I went out fishing on Lake Powell. We had a lot of fun and ended up catching enough fish to have a little fish fry on Sunday. It was delicious! Judd had a blast because Gramps (Tom) fed him dill pickles and pizza crust, the kid was thrilled!

My parents stayed a few days with us becuase of General Conference, it was sooo nice to have them here with us! I just love them! They are so much fun and I really...really...really...miss them! So thanks for all you do...you're the best! Please come back soon and bring the whole family!

Families are the best! It's really what life is all about! I'm so grateful for the knowledge that I can be with those I love FOREVER!

Little Judd is officialy a HELMET HEAD! We went to SL this morning and had his helmet molded! He did sooo good and I have to admit, he looked histarical! I just love this little munchkin! He is so adorable!

Life is wonderful and we are so happy! We are so blessed and trying to live life to the fullest each and everyday!
Judd and Swedyn...soon to be wed!
