It's been awhile...

So, i'm realizing that it has been a whole year since I last posted.  What can I say...L--I-F-E happens!  Things have been crazy busy around here but we are doing well.
The boys are growing like weeds and I love them to pieces! I can't believe that my baby is almost 2.  It makes me so sad. And no I am not pregnant.  I just love how in the last 4 months I have all sorts of people asking me if I am pregnant.  I told one lady, "don't take this the wrong way, but you are a baby machine!  Good for you, thats awesome! However, I am not a baby machine.  Will I have more children? I plan on it!" Some people.
Judd is loving preschool and seems to be getting smarter everyday. He loves to color, paint rocks, catch lizards, 7 drive his powerwheels!  He says the sweetest things to me and has such a tender heart.  I've been debating on sending him to kindergarten this next year but I think i've decided against it.  He makes the cut off by exactly 6 days.  Academically, I think he would be fine, but I think another year of maturing would be great for him.  He is full of energy and is constantly humming or imitating the sound of a racecar.  I love that kid!
Jake is a little spitfire. He is aggresive & likes to be in control.  However, just this past week he has started saying, "tank you," for just about everything. It is so precious and i'm grateful to see all the time I try to spend teaching him manners is paying off.  He is such a good listener and does what I ask of him. He is great at picking up messes and emptying the bathroom trashes. He has such a big smile with even  bigger teeth! Haha! I think he is gonna need braces! I sure do love him.
Darren is treading water. He has been soooo soooo sooooo busy with work. I'm really proud and grateful of all his hard work. Running your own business is not an easy task and I know he gets frustrated at times, but he keeps working hard. He is such a wonderful dad & Jake & Judd just adore him.  I appreciate all he does for our family.
I am 6 weeks away from finishing my first year of Nursing School. Wow! This is the hardest thing I have ever done. It demands so much of my time but I am soooo determined to not let it run my life. This has been so challenging, especially this 2nd semester. This week I feel like i'm not giving 100% to anything. You know when you have those days where you feel like you are a horrible mom, bad wife, poor student, bad friend, your house looks like a bomb went off? Well, that sums things up for me this week! So i'm trying my best to hang in there, I just don't know if this is all worth it. I try to keep an eternal perspective and focus on what's really important, but sometimes that is not so easy to do.  Last week it was 230 in the morning & I was up studying. I told myself I had to be in bed by 3 to get at least 4 hours of sleep...I had a test that morning at 9:00. Well of course Judd decides to throw up....EVERYWHERE! I just started to cry....i'm thinking, "is this seriosuly happening to me?" Oh wait, it is! Haha! So I tried to laugh about it..tried being the key word there.  So 6 more weeks, I hope I make it.
My life is so beautiful and I have so much to be thankful for. I have a beautiful family, with healthy children, and we are happy!
