Since I moved away from home almost 6 years ago...I don't think i've ever left without crying, it just never gets easier...miss and love you all!

*We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you did as well! We spent a lot of time with family, it was great!*My mom and dad gave me an early Christmas present and i'm thrilled...I got a new Bosch! I'm so excited! My poor kitchen aid has really taken a beating, what a trooper. Judd and I made six loaves of bread today, it was awesome! Thanks again mom and dad, you guys are the best!
*One more semester is coming to a close...hurray! Chemistry has really
kicked my butt, but i've worked really hard and so far things are looking good! Pray for me, I need all the help I can get!
*I hate Christmas shopping...infact, as of today I still have bought nothing...nothing at all. Why is this holiday so commercialized ? It really bugs me. I really want my kids to understand what CHRISTmas is all about. I find it very humbling & interesting that the Savior of the world had no place to stay coming into the world, and now so many have no "place for him" in their own lives.
*Life is so busy, too busy, but i'm really trying to make an effort to slow down and put the small and simple things first. Time flys by so quickly and i'm trying to relish the tender moments I have each day.

ReplyDeleteSomething we started with our kids while they were still little was only getting them three gifts. the savior only got three so why should they get more.... from us anyways. grandparents still spoil them like crazy. haha
we make birthday gifts a bigger deal than christmas gifts.
